My curiosity would just be too much! I too would open them. There may be some real hidden gems in them. We have no kids or family that have any interest at all in coins. Our Beneficiary is a long-time, good friend and she loves coins too. She's already excited and I'm not dead yet! When I told her the first thing she said was "Your COINS"! We both got a big chuckle. I've also tossed around the idea of donating my entire collection to the ANA. In the meantime, we continue to collect and love the "hobby"! Enjoy your Dad's coins, and open them to see what enjoyments he had and lovingly left for you!

Well I opened six (6) rolls so far. And it would've been a mistake to sell these rolls on net for what I saw some were going for (top was about $15.00 a roll).
It was like Christmas or the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow when I opened them. They're definitely manyyy keepers in thesenrolls. Sadly, I will say the end ones on each roll have a little bit of an issue do to exposure, not too much. I did notice some of them had I guess you would say staining and or little grey spots and a few darker.this I think may have been caused by either the wrapping, where it was keep/environment condition. Not many however have this. They're so bright and clean I'm wowed. The ones I started off with so far two (2)rolls of 1968-P unc. Written on ot No "P" on any of them. A 1960 roll that had SA? written on it. A 1960 roll that had SM written on roll. And one 1960 roll that had unc written on it. My apologies they all had unc written on them. The wrapping o me would say are in good condition for their age but when you start to open you can tell the age. should I ever decide or receive or purchase whatever rolls of coins that are uncirculated I am definitely going to have to ensure that they are environmentally protected and some manner due to what I've mentioned above.
I wish I could get a hang of posting pictures. I've tried and it keeps saying in short pic to large. I'm not good with electronics. I'll figure it out and when I do you may get sick of me lolo

I believe someone mentioned that they were considering on purchasing some rolls from the internet that said that they were uncirculated. Well I just opened what read 1969 p uncirculated on one of three rolls that have the alleged White and red print on them and low and behold I was shocked that not all them are 1969-P's. There are some definitely that read 1969 and you can tell they're uncirculated however there might be four or five in here that are not and one reads 1957D one read 1964. Now I'm going to open the other two that are in the red and white paper that have been stored for many years that reads uncirculated. My belief someone mentioned that somebody might have a homemade roller and this could be what happened they didn't have the whole roll or kept one or two for themselves and put extras in there to make it a whole roll I don't know.

Open the third roll of what read 1969 p uncirculated and low and behold there's a 44 and a 67 in there the rest are 69 and they aren't quite good condition. My father is not here any longer to ask him who he got them from. I believe he may have gotten snookered a little when he purchased these three roles. But there still in exceptional condition for 69s in all the three rolls

It sounds like your dad made up these rolls himself.
That's why you have mixed dates, etc. I have rolls like this that I made up back in the 1970s and 1980s.
