What an amazing coin! The height of the devices and depth of the fields is absolutely fantastic! In fact, if you stare at the buffalo you can just see it breathing. Okay, maybe not, but still! Amazing!
This has got to be one of my favorite coins ever posted on CCF.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Thank you all for your VERY kind words.
As most of us know, Legend provides a lot of "fluff" in describing coins they're selling, although unlike other auction houses, Legend does tend to filter out SOME of the not so eye appealing coins offered to them for consignment.
Here's what Legend said about my new Buffalo. Yes, there's some fluff, but as I read it, there's probably SOME truth in what they said:
Boy do we love SUPER HIGH-END coins like this. This coin probably is the BEST PR68 we have ever seen! EVER! It is a MONSTER that we just tried 2x to get a + or (wishful thinking) a Cameo. If you're a perfectionist and demand killer eye appeal, then this is your coin!
Deep mirrors (and we mean DEEP) go all the way to the opposite end of the planet. They have superior reflectivity, cleanliness, and clarity. Even using a strong glass there are zero imperfections or spots. Both sides are a luscious light original lilac/pale gold/brilliant nickel color. There is some contrast. Every detail is pinpoint sharp and stands out. The eye appeal is phenomenal!
PCGS 51, NGC 73, CAC 20. The price guides do NOT apply for this coin! NO WAY! We know there are a few better coins graded (at least one PR69), but this coin will give them a run for their money! We assure you, you will NEVER see another 1937 PR 68 even close. Maybe not even a 68+! Cert. Number 25209515

SWEEEEET! That's a really nice example, Steve. It far outshines the one in my collection (and most likely cost a heck of a lot more): Out of curiosity, does yours also have the rotated reverse like mine does? It always surprised me that this happened since proofs are supposed to be made with extra care.

Hey @barryg, that's a GREAT looking coin, and it merits a CAC sticker as well! Enjoy!
Yes, I suspect my 68 cost a bit more, lol.

Super pretty Buffalo winesteven, I was guessing it to be a PR67+ until I saw the grade, well deserved these are often found cloudy and hazy, this one looks like it was chromed it has so much luster.
