I see a business strike cent. Quote: Thanks for harassing me on my post jerks I don't see anything even close to harassing going on here - you asked about a coin and experts offered their views. The only person on this thread with an attitude is yourself - and that won't fly long at the CCF where we generally police each other. If the moderators need to get involved they will shut you down.

The narrow rim screams 'business strike' If it were a proof, the rim would be square and very dominant.

I see a normal business strike, no proof characteristics at all.

Let's please keep the discussion civil and sarcasm-free. @mrsh, you will see that I have lighted edited your last post on this thread. You don't have to agree with what folks here are saying--they are just offering up their opinions as you requested.

I watched the video, it's still not a proof. If you're convinced, send it off to PCGS.

@MrShack.... W/O watching the video you supplied, the coin pictured in the opening shot, is not a proof. Just because someone posts "something" on the internet.... it is not definitive proof of anything, nor should be construed as an absolute. Some people that post on youtube, are very much uneducated & post things w/o actual education/research.

If YOU think it's a proof then quit trying to convince us and just do an overnight submission to PCGS and come back here next week and show us the grading results. As a bonus, if this coin comes back as a proof I will eat my fair share of a well-cooked crow pie! I have made this crow pie offer several times during my time here on CCF and have NEVER had to cook one up! I expect this instance to be no different!

We don't need to watch anything. All you have to do is use a little common "cents". If such coin existed, don't you think someone would have found it sometime in the last 45 years? Seeing the 75 no S dime is worth a half a million dollars a 74 no S cent would be on the same level. I'll do westernsky one better, I'll pay the grading costs and dine with them on that crow.

OP's putative 1974 "No S" proof LMC as compared to an actual 1974-S proof LMC

Please just send it in for grading and get back to us with the resuls. This thread has run its course. If you're that convinced, then let's settle this.
