No worries, it's one of those coins where you gotta check every one of them. I have had more than one false alarms on a 1982-D LMC.

Here's a comparison with a real 82-D small date copper (I think only 2 have been found so far)   Even though the OP's picture is blurry it seems the tail of the 2 is close to the rim. Anybody else agree?

The tail of the 2 looks very close to the rim - I do not think it is a small date. Champ785 - can you please post a better image (not on the scale any more) just the coin in proper focus and cropped for us?
