My first thought was a coin removed from a stamped mounting as well. Is it out of round? Also does the edge have a concave look? Thanks, Doug.

1919-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-Strike-Error?
Someone asked for a rim shot.
Also it doesn't appear to me to be out of round.

If the diameter is no greater than 19.05mm all around, I'll agree its an impressive MAD strike. Thanks, Doug.

I don't think I have a tool that can measure that precisely!

Find an undamaged Lincoln Cent and lay it on top of the coin in question and then underneath it. See if there are any noticeable deviations.

ADDED: Maybe use a bright shiny shield cent, so as any deviations would be easier to make out.

Just a follow up. I measured using a ruler and diameter is 19 all away around. I don't know about .05 part, but it is definitely 19 not 20. rim is consistent with a new coin upon visual comparison. Thank you all
