Am I correct in assuming "MPL" is the state of die progression that naturally comes after CAM?

Cool toning. Not a Proof. I think she makes MS63, not higher due to the obverse chatter,

Hello, I too am Amazed with This Morgan's Strike!!! Very Crisply Struck Example.. May I ask, What's going on on the Obverse along ANNA'S neck, Some sort of Chatter.... A close up Maybe, .. Thanks for Sharing, MD.

I Too Love Toned Morgans, Upon further viewing of the posted photos I ask, How does This toning differ from Heat treatments as far as Forensics, Blue , Orange, Browns go. The SPOT on the Reverse on " WE " Looks suspect. ( to me ). It appears to be Similar in appearance, As IF the coin's rim was heat treated, NO.

MD, if you love toned Morgans you would have a field day in Japan. The humidity is something fierce in Japan, especially in the summer time. I've come to realize this is the reason for all of the wild toning. In the US, you probably see a ton of those "US 20th Century Type" coin frames. Well, Japan has a lot of those but also various other novelty frames for Japanese collectors of US coins. This one actually came out of a frame that had this Morgan and the stamps of Okinawa. The three spots on the reverse actually had something black on the inside of the thick plastic casing it came in, and you could tell it was wrapped up in that thing for a while.

I see a tiny mark on the cheek and some contact marks on the right obverse field but otherwise clean. I think its a solid 64 thats worth a premium with the toning.

That's some wild toning! The chatter behind the head might keep it from a 65, but otherwise not many marks and a stunning reverse. I'd say MS-64+.
