I use this place the most, ebay for prices, pcgs for an idea of quick values on coins with full steps, full split bands, full bell lines and varieties. and google

For pricing, I use Heritage Auction most often. It gives a true real-life FMV, as opposed to Numismedia and PCGS sites that will quote high retail.

I use CCF the most!

I will update my "need to buy" spreadsheet with NumisMedia and occasionally ebay prices.

I use Numismedia and to a lesser extent, PCGS, for pricing.

I use coinfacts.com for pictures and information.

I lurk (browse) on the Collector's Universe forum (PCGS sponsored). There are a lot of serious collectors there and some very great knowledge but it is also very different than CCF. CCF truly is a community of some of the nicest people you could hope to meet. Collector's Universe is more like a schoolyard where the teachers only watch a little bit. You can get beat up there if you are not careful! There are also more dealers who sell there and so you get a different perspective - sometimes good, sometimes not but usually interesting. Here there's posts on scumbag sellers; those are on Collector's Universe also but you also have quite a few idiot buyer posts also.

Just this one , its certainly the best site on the web for IDing a coin or token I've ever come across. In depth knowledge on just about any coin , I really dont need much else.
We even get a smile occasionally when the "My granny died and..." threads get trotted out.
