No possible way for that to happen when the coin was struck.
It probably would not even fit in the collar. 100% damage.

I know everybody's gonna disagree with me but hear me out 41 second.If this was alter or postmate damage wouldn't the impressions of washington and on the back side show signs of being shaved off or filed off.Those impressions have not been touched.It seemed like it was on the wrong planchet, that's what I'm seeing
