My method of Madness, The vice slowly twisting inward, Slab wrapped in a fine cloth and Slowly the original seams Crack, I have done this More then a Few times, Excellent outcome...  PS, Best Wishes Tomorrow Boba......

nice work shop Marv, but why use the band saw on the ANACS slabs? they easily pop open with a large flat screw driver.

He could not read my coins through the slabs so I had to jailbreak them at his shop with end cutters
I guess I'll have to try the vice trick on a different coin in the future

Boba,
Wrap the slab in an old soft towel, Lock the slab in sideways, each side on a Vice jaw, along the side seams, Slowly turn inward till the First pop or crack.
Judge for yourself how far you'll have to go before using a Slotted screwdriver to finish popping open the slab, between the two tight plastic faces, Wear safety glasses, Best Wishes

I think the handyman's secret weapon is better!  It has the added benefit of collecting the fine bits. A crowbar or piece of wood works as a substitute for a hammer when you can't find one.
