i picked one of these quarters from a parking lot in front of a liquor store tonight; no privy, but at least I know they are now on the island.

Same here, GreasyFingers. I have yet to see a July 4th privy mark despite having searched numerous boxes of solid DOI quarters.
I am seeing more of this design in circulated rolls, so I'll probably find one eventually. But it's become increasingly clear that Cincinnati received few if any privy marked coins. I know of no one locally who has found one.

Another box down and no DOI quarters with only 3 dollars' worth of the first 2 2026 designs. The hunt continues because I refuse to buy one off the bay.

Still a big bagel here in SoCal... I've only found one DOI quarter of ANY sort, and that was in a Vegas casino almost two months ago.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

In Cincinnati the DOI quarters are everywhere. I just searched a box of CWRs with probably 200 Jefferson quarters in it, about evenly spread between Philly and Denver mintmarks.
And yet, I've found zero July 4th quarters. Tellers I know who search coin deposits have likewise come up empty. I heard one report of someone finding two at a bank in Cincinnati, but it's tough to say how credible that rumor is. I suspect our reserve branch simply did not receive any of the marked coins despite claims of "random" distribution from the US Mint.
