I grade that Cookie MS-61 RB. No signs of wear but it does have some serious bag marks. Attractive polka dot toning.

I'm guessing your not serious. Anyone can sed the die cracks, bulge on the left side, lack of clarity in the date and mint mark. Lucky if and AU-55.

i don't understand. is there some myth or something about 74 pennies having been minted?

Actually none were ever made at all. In 1974 the Government experimented with a secret metal that allows them to monitor your movements. The purpose was to eventually make all our coins like that so they can check up on everyone, all the time, doing whatever they do when not being watched. They got the idea from that book called 1984 but the entire project was abandoned since they knew everyone would soon have a cell phone with a tracking device built in.

The 1974 pennies are the remains of a melted UFO. Be careful if you have one. It may try to take flesh samples, create crop circles in your lawn, or put you in a tractor beam and fly back to its secret base behind the moon.

Adam is sure racking up the posts!

Oh 1974 aluminum cents? c'mooooon guys those are common. A lab assignment in chemistry this semester was to grind up 10 kilograms of those and dissolve them into a hydrochloric acid solution. It made bubbles!
