I just offered 12.50 with a note "I'm low balling this because it looks cleaned". DENIED! But yes, Coppertop, he's waiting for a sucker. If he started bidding at $1, I'm sure it would get up to $25. I'd love to know how much time and insertion fees he has invested in this gem.

a grilled cheese sandwich with a image of the Virgin Mary on it sold for 28,000 on ebay.......

Really?....Are you serious?....I wouldn't pay more than $15,000 for a grilled cheese sandwich, even if it was TPG authenticated as a rare Jesus commemorative.

No wait, it's ok. This week it's on sale for $53,999.99. That's a little more like it!

I'm thinking of doubling the first bid I put in that was rejected and going up to $14.

There are no words to describe my disgust with a person like this. He makes a mockery of Christianity (which, for the record, I do not practice) and decent Christians everywhere. I wish it were possible to slap this person with The Hand of God.

That might get the message across.

Pardon the digression, but as long as we're talking about miraculous artifacts I have a one-of-a-kind silver ingot. I had 5 ounces of raw silver I wanted to cast into an ingot. Lacking proper equipment and knowledge, I made a crude mold out of Redi-Crete and poured the molten silver into it. Turns out that cured cement contains lots of moisture, which boiled out of the mold when the silver hit it. Plus, molten silver has a unique property of absorbing oxygen from the air; the oxygen bubbles out of the silver when it hardens. The net result was a crude ingot with a very peculiar surface texture.

I was getting ready to say the same thing, I guess he is just going to keep adding it until someone bites

This person is right here in my backyard somewhere. I keep asking around at the local flea markets to see if I can flush them out, but no luck yet. Still don't know what I would say to him or her.
