I wouldn't mind having one, but not at that price.Really no different than owning a fur coat, or eating a pork chop..especially if they died from natural causes.

As one who has both raised pigs and done some small-scale taxidermy before, I must say they are quite cute and well-made, at least from the images. Plenty of piglets die of natural causes- they're pretty delicate at that stage, so a small change in temperature or even a few rainy days can kill the smaller members of a litter despite all precautions.

Guess I was just reading the story included in the link. Having experience on a farm, I had no reason to imagine anything else.

I have a nice collection of piggy banks, but I would have to pass on this one, even if it were cheaper. It just does not feel right it.
Even if they say they only use pigs that have died naturally at a young age, market demand could easily cause them to push the line.
