Without a reverse picture, I can only guess possible VF+ Details/badly corroded. It is considered a key-date in the series along with the 1872,1877,1908-S,1909-S.
If this would have been a problem free example, you could have been looking at a $300-$400 coin. In this condition, you are probably looking at $40-50 tops.

Agreed with being damaged, corrosion, dings and what may be micro porosity. I would say VF details. I agree, you won't get that much for it due to its condition, but if you're lucky, you may get anywhere from $25 to $50, depends on the buyers.

The others were 1898, 1862, 1888, 1890, 1896, 1863, 1897, and 1892... Nothing special about those right?

I remember pulling an XF-AU indian out of the junk bin, sold it for $10 to some other kid when I was young...

I think it was buried and later cleaned. I think it went into the ground around XF. That's a great score for just a dollar!  |

VF details, pitted, corroded, gouges. Maybe $25-30 like others said. But great steal for a buck! The Copper nickels are a good steal for a buck too- even badly worn or corroded pieces go for $4-5.
