I got it for 80 at a show in Vegas-- I would wonder what this coin could tell me-- and where it has been, maybe it was hanging out with these guys at the "Oriental"

Congrats, I love the old dark Morgan Carson City's. Looking at the coin $80.00 was a good pick up for you.

I was going to go to the Vegas show, but something came up. Maybe next time, we can meet up.

Very nice coin. I was thinking about getting a cc dime myself but maybe a Morgan would be nice as well.

My first CC coin is a mint state 1878 Morgan dollar also. I purchased it raw and was going to get certified. That was 3 years ago and I still haven't gotten it slabbed! Now I'm not sure whether I will be getting the 1878 CC graded as I have so many raw Morgans that need TPG attention. I'm just not sure which ones I want to submit. I can't afford to get them all graded as that would cost a hefty amount of money that I don't have at the moment!
