Regarding dimes, you're not going to find them. Plain and simple, the site you seek doesn't exist. Right now my site,
https://www.coppercoins.com, is the leading thing going on the internet f
or die
variety self-attribution, and we are currently focusing all our attention on the
Lincoln Cent because it is by very far the most collected coin series by die
variety. There are over 2,500 known die varieties in the
Lincoln Cent series, and we currently have just shy of 7,900 photos of nearly 1,650 different die varieties accessible on the site. It is a "giga-site" that takes over 1.3Gb of disk space and costs nearly $100 per month just to host. What's m
ore, it's free to you. The cost of the site comes out of my pocket and from donations.
Within a year we will be expanding and w
orking on other coin series. The plan is in place, but the whole structure has to be very carefully planned to allow f
or growth without having to completely rew
ork the structure again. Believe me when I say it's going to be good. The vision has been there ever since I noted that the so-called experts in the field were out only to take checks and make a buck eaking out tiny bits of inf
ormation - I'm not here f
or that. I'm in all this to make die
variety collecting easier on the collect
or, and I am seeing it through. I have been w
orking on all of this f
or seven years now, and don't have any intentions of retiring bef
ore it is compelte.
Simply contact me if you want to discuss things at length, volunteer to help, talk about die varieties,
or ask questions. My email address is cd@coppercoins.com, and I will reply as soon as I hear from you.
