Yesterday is the first day I ever bought any rolls. I got them for 50 cents each a Vons. The first roll was mixed dates with nothing noteworthy inside. the second, third, and fourth rolls where uncalculated 2006 D pennies, and I found two different varieties of die chips, all big enough to see without glass, there was one with upwards of fifty chips and three cracks, looking altogether like a mountain range, with the center right across Lincoln's lap. This is the most severe error, but the same die made most of the other coins, but in lesser stages of decay. The other variety is an extremely large, circular die chip, about 1/3 of a millimeter high, that gets progressively bigger though four coins, and I have at least 1 dozen smaller errors of the same kind and place. Almost 1/5 of the coins in the roll had errors, 1/20 of the coins had easy to see errors, and about eight where huge errors that a blind person could notice without much trouble. I could not find reference to any of these errors anywhere on the Internet. My question is, is it common to find this many errors in a 2006 roll, because this kind of error is worth $10 on ebay, and much more elsewhere.

You are looking way too hard at your coins for the wrong things. Small die chips and die cracks are not worth a premium - they are a normal part of the minting process and are considered wihin tolerance. What you should be looking for on 2006 cents if you want to profit from them is doubled dies. So far more than a dozen different dies have been found for 2006 cents P and D, obverse and reverse.
