NGC or PCGS I'd say MS-64, CAC I'd say MS-63.

I'll say MS-63 as well. There's some pretty big bag marks.

That's a decent strike for 1884. The coin has great luster. The obverse fields are very nice. The cheek has a little too much for MS-64. The reverse has quite a bit of chatter in the fields, but the central devices are better. I think it's MS-63 on a bourse floor, but the eye appeal could bump it to MS-63+.

cant quite tell if the black line north/south across the jaw is recessed. if it is then that could be an issue. barring that MS63
