I was sorting out some of my coins and these were both so nice looking I had to have a closer look. The 1st one I am 99% certain of, the 2nd one not so much. Thank you in advance for any info.
Only a single RPM for the S mint reported. *(There was one seller that had a S rpm to the east instead to the west for sell, but too rich for my blood and I never saw that.)
7 different D RPM so far reported.
These and doubled die varieties mostly on the obverse, but not dramatic that's cost prohibited, unless going to mint states.
Also the new CherryPickers' Guide will have more Mercury dimes varieties this time, you can be sure that book is on my list, and should be out very soon.
There are two listed on the CONECA site. The second is described as S/S West. I can't tell by the image, but there is always the possiblity of an unknown variety. Even I have discovered a DDOMercury dime a couple of years ago.
