I've been trying to find one of these original with a decent date for a reasonable price. I personally think that, next to the 1916, this is THE toughest slq date in any grade. It is far tougher to find than the 1921, and they usually commanded prices above book.

This example isn't perfect with a couple of carbon spots, but it looks good in my set.

Very nice find - and I agree, 19d and 19s are both extremely difficult to find in VF or better condition and draw huge premiums.

AFCOP! Hows it going buddy? I haven't seen you around these parts in quite some time! Welcome back! Thanks for the comments. VF-25 sounds about right to me too.

I'm going in at VF-25 also, sweet SLQ and yep, a very tough date these days to find in decent shape.

John - thanks. Yeah - 2011 was a year I'd rather forget. But I'm going to get back in the game now and have to completely restart my SLQ collection......old one was "stolen". Long story.

OUCH! I'm very sorry for you, my friend! That must have been heart-breaking. I know how I would feel if some scum took mine...
