Picked these up recently, not in great shape but they were cheap. I think they are Herennia Etruscilla, Philip and Hostillian. Anyone got any thoughts on this, I'm not 100%, especially with the bottom one?

For the top coin I think I can see HE in the beginning of obv. legend so I would also say its Herennia Etruscilla, the top right is without a doubt a philip.I think I can see the "C VAL HOST" part in the obv legend "C VAL HOST M QUINTVS CAE" starting under the portrait, so I would say its a hostilian caesar. Can you make out which year this coin is? I cant tell from the picture but it looks like it might be AN XII.

I think your right jessvc1, the legend starting right under the portrait was confusing me

I found two coins of Hostilian with the legend starting under the portrait on acsearch under Viminacium, but didn't find a portrait match before I had to quit last night.

I think it pretty much has to be Hostilian although there were a few of Volusian as well.

Yours looks more like HOST rather than VOLV to me.

Nice group bobbyhelmet.

Thanks for looking Doucet, I found a similar one (legend position) on this excellent Dutch site: http://www.muntenmuseum.nl/viminaci...inacium.html

http://www.muntenmuseum.nl/viminaci...ilianus.html - About 3/4 down the page.

Mine looks to be Pick 148 / Martin 4'01'?.

I'm still on the look out for a Viminacium Voulusian after my last one 'disappeared' in the post
