If he is a friend, I would have paid a little closer to spot on those, I myself always let people know what their coins are worth, and what I would pay for them, if they take it, fine, if not, that's fine too. I guess its a karma thing to me, what goes around comes around.

A coworker isn't exactly a best friend. He put the figure out there and was happy with it. He could have got more elsewhere so half your luck. I wouldve done the same thing.
If it was a friend its a whole different story but the majority of my coworkers are a pain in the bum! If I got anything good out of them id be happy and wouldnt feel bad at all?

For me there is nothing wrong with getting a good deal.
The coworker could have taken them to a coin shop or the traveling gold buyers that set up in hotels .. and could have gotten more .. or a lot less.
The shop I help out at, would have paid .. around $1350 or more .. depending on if the dollars were culls or BU.
Either way .. enjoy your good deal .. I know many would like to find such a good buy

VERY NICE!
Better in your hands than those of a dealer.

Awesome deal! Just in the 45 Morgans, the melt is almost $1,100.

Lets see some pics for sure!
And I would have done the exact same thing. He stated his price, he got what he wanted.
