I just pulled out this 2007-D dime and noticed what appear to be some types of errors. The most noticeable things were some sort of blobs of metal on the eyebrow, along the top of the nostril in a curved line, out around the corner of the mouth and the bottom of the chin. These blobs are also plentiful in the hair in different spots. Additionally there is some sort of indent just outside the corner of the eye. And finally the inside "negative spaces" of the letters "O" and "D" in the word "GOD" appear to be drooping down and to the left. I've attached some photos to see what people think.

I just did a little research and perhaps it is some sort of Cud. One ebay seller had a similar 1999 dated type and called it the "Drooling Roosevelt" Cud.

Those would be die cracks. Cuds only appear on the rim. Thats a pretty nice find, considering I havent seen any 2007 circulating coin yet.

The coin is basically pristine. No noticeable wear and a few thin scratches here and there. I'd say MS 63.
BTW - Jason Craton wrote that he just sees die chips and die fatigue there.

As laxmaster stated, Cuds only appear from the rim of a coin. Any 'blobs' in the design that don't touch the rim can only be die cracks or chips, and that's what these are. They are not considered errors because they are within limits of tolerance for normal mint production. In other words, the mint doesn't pull coins like this if they catch them, and they are knowingly released into circulation.
