ok, I seem to be an error magnet. I get one roll of prez tokens and get a unique large error, a Unibrow George.

I never understood why they eliminated the unibrow on all those paintings of Washington.

It's tough to tell from the pics - are you sure it isn't a post-mint gouge? I can't see any displaced metal, which lends credence to the idea of a strikethrough, but it sure seems like these coins are getting ill-treated by their handlers. We're seeing a bunch of quality control issues with these.

Dave I have see lots of post mint damaged coins. I have seen many strike thrus. I took very detailed photographs of the strike thru and it sure looks like its a sting or wire that had been pressed into the coin. You can clearly see the strands that are wound together.

I am 99% sure I'm right on this one but that still leaves 1 %.

It is on ebay so we will see. If it's only 10 bucks 12 hours before the end I will pull it and keep it myself.

error

The bottom of the furrow for lack of a better descriptor certianly looks like a string or wire,, although I also see some post mint hits on top of it .

to bad that whatever it was not retained in the coin !!

it will be interesting to see what the frenzy of buying that is going on with coins does with this one.

I went through 1 roll of these and found three with edge lettering anomolies,, I will not be joining the fun on ebay with them.

From what I see in your pic -- sorry, I guess I'm in the 1% category on this one.

Yeah, me too...that's definitely a scratch, not a struck-through.
