ikandiggit Pillar of the Community Canada 1166 Posts	Posted 06/30/2012 1:18 pm It's pretty minor and the note's a little beat up. It'll be up to you to decide whether you want to tie up $50. I'd use it as a trader towards something better, then you might get a nice premium (through a trade) than you would trying to sell it. Not being an expert on U.S. notes, what I do find attractive (interesting) are all the "A"'s on the note. That may count as something from other note collectors. Report this Post to the Staff

coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 07/01/2012 09:44 am I don't know note errors very well, but I would think it's not worth much of a premium, partly because it's minor and partly because of its condition. I personally wouldn't want to tie up $50 to keep it for the possibility that some day someone might want it for $60. Best bet is to list it on ebay for $50 plus shipping and see what happens. If nothing else it will go to a good home at face plus shipping to someone who would appreciate it. I really don't think anyone would end up hurt that way, because they might get a decent deal, but you would be passing it along to someone who would preserve it instead of just cashing it in. What I really meant was to list it so there would be no profit, but no loss either. If it turns out that you get a profit, then you've gained financially. If it turns out that you break even, then you've gained by providing a collector with a piece they will enjoy. I completely agree...don't offer it at a loss. Report this Post to the Staff
