Non Circulating Legal Tender These are issued by the mint for collectors and not produced for circulation

Hi loverr Nice pickup, that. Certainly a coin you won't find every day, and even so, you won't be able to retire on the proceeds... These would get no more than $5 on ebay, I'd guess, as there are plenty of fresh-mint ones still in their packaging being sold all the time. The beauty and appeal of the one you found it that it did get into circulation, so has been a 'real' coin for some part of its life. As trout said, these are much rarer than ones still in their packaging.

Hi Mairo I'd add the 2009 Roos dollar, as you just MIGHT find one with the Canberra Master mintmark stamp on it on the top right (or better still, an added C stamp at the bottom) I've done the positions in red. Other standard issues with possible counterstamps are the 1993 Landcare, the 1996 Parkes, and the 2002 Outback dollars Some of the coins are pictured here https://goccf.com/t/110478&whichpag...ms=mintmarks
