However, I can't tell if that is wear or a delamination on the left wheat stalk that radiates upward above the "L". It could also be PMD because it looks as if someone stamped a "6" on the rim. Also a question about the "B" discoloration abutting the "P". Looks like a die break on the "O" also. I'd have to see it in hand so my guess is MS 58-62...I know it's not a real grade, but even with the marks on his cheek and beard, this is a tough one. Report this Post to the Staff
BadThad Bedrock of the Community United States 19975 Posts	Posted 10/29/2012 10:22 pm There's some carbon spots on the obverse that are difficult to see. 22D's are well known for their crappy strikes, but the obverse on this one is excellent and the reverse is pretty good considering most of these don't even show wheatlines.
