Wow BC - that is a nice one. Would go 65 or 66, but the hits on the reverse will hold it to 64.

30's quarters are tough to not find "mushy." The hit on the tip of the nose, the spot on the rim (obverse), the minor dings in the fields/portrait, and the machine gun hit on the reverse holds it at a solid 64 for me. It's a very nice quarter for sure.

I'm guessing the TPG's will tolerate some minor hits. I'm sending out for certification hoping for a 65. I'll post the results in 21 days. I have another one similar (below)that PCGS graded MS65.

I'd wager a 65.

I agree with the second coin's grade. I think the OP coin has a 55/45 shot. The nic on the nose and the two machine gun hits on the reverse just barely holds it to a 64 for me. Anxious to see the results. Good luck!

The reverse does not have a strong enough strike.
