100% confirmed! The 2010 set pictured contains specification info for the penny which say: two-ply copper finish plated steel. AND....I put a magnet to it for confirmation. Definitely magnetic. These can be found on ebay if not at internet coin sellers. |

I have both sets listed above confirmed magnetic..
I have 2010 wedding, baby, and oh Canada uncirculated sets all confirmed non-magnetic.

I'm not able to sell on this site until I have 250 posts. I wouldn't want to sell for lower than $50 anyway.ðŸ'¹

does the 2010 Special Edition Uncirculated set (the one with the rough riders and navy loonie) have a magnetic cent also?

If your patient the set could be had for a decent price on ebay. I was able to buy one for well under 40 in Nov. |

I paid $45 for the penny on ebay last month (mint)including shipping. I browsed for a time and they never seemed to go for much under $40 and often over $50. |

I had a quick look at my books. I have it written down as 2010 and 2012 bu sets for $52 total. (includes shipping) I'm not 100% sure how much I paid for each one but I'm counting the 2012 as $20. The seller was bel-kirkstamps or at least that's what I have on file.
