I saw this auction at the link below. He said he was starting the auction at $1000 much higher than what the coins were worth because he was looking for someone kind-hearted to give him money for a new roof for his house. I think it is amusing because we know some people are much worse off like those with no home at all. not counting the bills that may or may not be real and probably no rare or expensive coins. I would guess the silver at spot plus the clad coins at face, they have maybe $210 worth of coins there. Check out his feedback, all sellers feedback. Snowmobile parts, motorcycle parts, even feedback from a jeweler.

Neither does the fact that his profile has "nurse" in the profile. He could be a nurse but do they generally get fired for non-negligent things? He asked "how nice" it was for his boss to fire him right after he closed on his house. Something tells me his wife is a nurse and he is not.

Maybe instead of selling off almost(kept a couple sentimental pieces) my entire collection to pay for all the damages from Hurricane Sandy (because why would insurance cover "wind driven rain water" during a hurricane), I should have just asked for a handout on ebay  |
