Am I the only one that remembers in the 80's Mc Donalds giving away free international coins with Chicken McNuggets, or free international bank notes with Almond Delight brekfast cerial?

I collected both, we ate so much Almond Delight my sister broke a tooth on it.
Ah, good times.

I remember in the early 70's getting foreign coins and paper money in cereal I also remember one of the gas companies, SHELL I think giving away replica ancient coins. There were about twelve, and they had a design on one side and a brief description on the other. You could put them in a cardboard holder that was also available.

This might jog your memories a little. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's Sugar Bear with a black belt on the tatami mat.

I don't remember the coins but I remember when their signs had the number served under 100,000, and then when it went to a million served.

I remember some of the cereal coins as the one halfabustisbetter listed, I think there were three different Kellog's cereals that had coins in them.

I don't recall the Mc Donalds give away, but I do remember the breakfast cereal bank notes. I still have a few myself.

I remember when their hamburgers were like 28 cents. And when coke was still cola, and a joint was a nice place to be.

Sorry guys.
