408 remaining. Might be the first new release to sell out.

Thank you for the pictures thecoinshoppe. I was unsure about the yellow case. But seeing a real picture of it I'd have to say I like it.
Unfortunately I also received a 4 on my coa from the mint.

Is it worth it to buy this coin? I am somewhat interested in the Canada post edition but I am still unsure if I should buy it or not. What are some top reasons as to why I should buy this coin?

Why would you buy a coin you unsure about buying? Why would anything more anyone here tells you change your mind now? Both rhetorical questions. The last thing I would do is try to convince someone to buy a coin they don't want.

I would only buy the coin for one of two reasons: I liked it and wanted it to be part of my collection OR I wanted to give it as a gift to someone who would appreciate it.

Yeah I get what you mean CC Ottawa. Buying a coin really depends on whether you like it or not personally. I was just curious to see what made others decide to buy it.

Ah, in that case, I decided to buy because of the proof finish and design. The size and weight make it a substantial coin. The lack of PM doesn't concern me much and keeps them affordable - a 9999 Ag would likely have cost 3 times a much. I also like the packaging of both the RCM and CP offerings and I think they will show well in my home for CNY. Even though I was disappointed that I couldn't order one last spring when they first appeared, I'm glad the Mint saved them for this time of year.

Yeah, I worded my question wrong sorry about the confusion. What I meant to say was I don't usually buy coins that don't contain a lot of PM so that's why I was unsure about purchasing this coin. I like the design and I think for the price, size and low mintage it's worth buying despite the lack of PM.

First picture of the 2 versions side by side. Funny, the reflections make the coins look transparent.

I prefer the first one, it's more elegant. Nice pictures and coins CC-Ottawa, that means you will have double good luck

lol. I noticed the transparent thing - figured I used that pic because of the interesting effect. Personally, I'm now torn as to which looks best but after having them side by side, I'm leaning towards the RCM version. I thought the CP would look better and be a little larger. One thing I noticed with the CP box is the lack of anywhere to put the COA when the box is open. Hope you're right about the double luck arianzo. Could really use it for 2014 given that 2013 was not a great year for me.
