ctguy Valued Member United States 95 Posts	Posted 07/23/2013 12:17 pm LWC 1919 2.90g Could this LWC loose so much weight over the years I though it should be around 3.11g give or take? The second 1 in the date is almost invisible to the naked eye. Can I ask a silly question? I thought a 1919 LWC was a copper cent through and through why does mine have a "shine" in places it looks almost like it was copper coated. Also, How do I stop or remove the black ick? Do I want to should I want to? How does this affect the value of a coin, it must diminish it. Report this Post to the Staff
