If COA is important which for some things they are farewell to penny roll as an example for others not so important. Spider-Man best ones would be obviously 001 and 50 cause its 50th anniversary and 5000 and I would say for the comic collector guys would be like major spidey events 1962,1963 stuff like that.

good points on the COA numbers fillurboots....i agree and there would be some good inside numbers as well like 300 and 008....Just got my last shipment from Australia..they are all in the 400s..Theres a lot more on ebay now ....Apmex is going to be the controlling factor at around 100.00 cost when they sellout... then the market demand will take over......still havent done the pics yet but I will

I received mine today in the mail from Australia I LOVE it,I think the coin looks much better in hand then most of the pics but the packaging is Amazing in my opinion the Tin is great looking way better then I thought,COA,little booklet. I give it a A+,wish I had the money to buy more I think they are definitely a winner and will go up in price.Be cool if they combined packing like this with the superman coins RCM released a superman tin with the display cube inside.

@fillurboots...i agree the tin box is almost as good as the coin...i originally thought it would be a bit bigger than a regular coin case but its huge and you know that if a non collector got it they would discard the tray and just put the coin and coa in it and fill it with other coins and memorabilia...Its almost too good for just the coin.....Im pretty sure this coin will take off once APMEX sells out...as it is ...its an excellent buy at 120 or less.....it will go to 150 or better for sure....pretty soon I think

Just discovered a local channel showing half hour episode of The Spectacular Spider-man cartoon. I'm not sure if these are new or older re-runs but this adult still enjoys cartoons. Next cartoon on this station is Justice League (with Superman). Glad I have found a station to show 2 good cartoons back to back.

FYI, these Spectacular Spider-man cartoons are brand new (they showed commercial stating all new episodes).

hey coinhooked.....Im still working through my spiderman comic collection which consists of an anthology of older issues on how spiderman fought venom and one actual comic #300 which I paid dearly for!..I like the movies and I'm sure I would enjoy the cartoons and as I'm sending this a very baby spider just dropped dropped down via its web strand in front of my keyboard! a cosmic signal from the man himself....now he is creating a web right infront of me...yikes....I notice that the coinset is slowly moving on ebay and the latest asking prices have improved..I wonder what you call a group of spiders?..anyways mine are staying in their safe until prices get a lot better....pictures still to come

I just checked APMEX & the Spidey set that has COA's that have been hand signed by Stan Lee are now $823 (cc order) & the reg sets with facsimile autograph are still $103 (cc order). Wow on the actual autographed ones. @CASSIDY77, I am sitting on my sets for now.

823.00 for a signed coa is pretty wild...even if it is stan lee!..i just discovered that I have a bunch of nice silver age spider man comics including one that is cgc graded...anyways ..thats one of the joys of being a collector ..finding stuff you forgot you collected!...here are some images for the spidey set I've been promising..i finally watched Spider man 3 movie from 2007..its pretty well crafted but the nerd factor of our hero's alter ego gets a bit tiresome..The comic books are actually better at making the character of Peter Parker and mary jane a lot more practical and realistic but the movies are definitely good.....and the special effects work well..hmmmm ... I'm having trouble with the upload so I will try again later

checking the ebay listings and it looks like spiderman sets are still selling at cost...apmex is selling them on ebay so until they sell out the prices will remain at cost..so no point in trying to resell for a while yet....but thats the nature of investing for the medium to long term.....happy new year 2014

Hmmmm but if "buyers" are not interested now (and for a while...)why they are going to be interested in some years...? Very unlikely.

I bought two of these coins when they first came out with the intention of flipping one when the prices went up. Now I think I'll just keep both because the #'s are low (33 and 65) and my 11 month old son will probably love it when he's older. I still can't get over how awesome the tin case is!
