I think I see some tiny letters or numbers around the edge in the second pic, especially at 10:00 to 11:00. Would a close-up of that area be possible?

1st thought was a Swiss 20 rappen as host coin.

The wreath side resembles 20 rappen tokens manufactured by A. G. Sigg (Frauenfeld).

There ar no letters on the coin. What you see is an irregular pattern of dots. This pattern seems to form letters.
The coin is probably casted (see picture of rim)
The weigth is approx. 18.4gr
I also think that it is a Swiss token
