westcoin Pillar of the Community United States 9792 Posts	Posted 12/02/2013 11:10 pm I was thinking the 1878 IHC was a fake, but couldn't really tell from the photos the date did look too "fat" at first glance, but the color was throwing me off even more than the date was. If you scroll down on the alibaba link, it says the material used is brass, that is why the coin looks so reddish in color I suppose.\ and not like a worn LC from normal circulation.
