jmkendall Pillar of the Community United States 1590 Posts	Posted 12/24/2013 12:37 am VF35. The Reverses on the early SF issues are notoriously weak. I have seen some MS coins with full Wheat ears on the left, and only half the Wheat lines on the right. When grading these early ones you really have to know the series and the typical strike of the particular date/mint mintmark. And it is all about wear, not detail; in grading. At least till you get to the MS "Commercial grading". Report this Post to the Staff
