I have three Seated halves. I met a guy who was interested in buying them. He told me he had cash, and wanted them. I was asking 15 a piece. When he saw them, he said they were cull coins, and not worth it. He offered me 7 dollars a piece.

What do you guys think?

Those certainly aren't high grade but they are far from 'culls', and I'd say hold out for the 15. You could easily get that or more around these parts. Two of the three appear to be good solid original coins with no damage. Even the cleaned one is worth more than scrap price. Good luck.

The 1853-O with arrows and the 1856-O look to be in G-4 in my opinion. The 1876- S? (can't be sure from the pics) looks like a Good details grade due to the cleaning.

I would say stick with $15. They are far from culls.

The 1876 is the closest to being a cull since it has been cleaned and there are a few rim dings but I would still value it over spot price. The other two are just decent low end coins with honest wear. I think $40 for all three would be a very fair asking price but offering $7 each is slightly insulting since that is even below spot value

The price of the silver alone should net you close to $9.00, per coin.

And , the coins are not culls and therefore, IMO, should command a better than spot price.

The 1853-O (Arrows and Rays) is going to be desirable even in that condition, probably more so than the 56-O because its a type coin. Definitely worth more than spot for the lot.

Those are far from being "culls" and are worth at least 15 to 20$ ea. Stick to your original number.

The definitely aren't high grade but not culls. You should stick to $15 each.

$15 each is probably fair, they are well worn but are far from culls. The arrows and rays variety is particularly appealing as the one year type coin.

If you were an established member, I would pay your $15 each. Stick around, become an established member and maybe we could make a trade.

No culls in this lot. Take them to a coin show and see what you can get.
