This is my first Mercury dime and I don't know what FB and FSB means.. (is that the middle band) as this one looks full.

A FB or FSB means "Full bands" or "Full Split Bands." See, there's supposed to be a line separating the central band in two, which gives it the "Full split bands/ Full bands" designation. If there isn't a line separating the central bands of the fasces (the cylinder-thing on the reverse), then it is not a FB Merc. Since the bands are not separated on this one, it's not a FB.
Some dates, such as 1945, are very pricey in FB because the majority of them weren't well-struck.

That scratch on Liberty face brings it down to AU-58 at best.

Weigh it! I found ones from 1943 and 1917 but they looked too nice. I weighed them and they were both 2.1 grams.
Through this site I sadly found out they were cast counterfeits. I guess the Mercs were highly faked. Not saying yours is, just to be sure.

It weighed 2.48 grams on my scales.. thanks for the lesson on FB /FSB ..
