Gary Burke Rest in Peace United States 3730 Posts	Posted 08/16/2007 01:42 am I am not sure when the Jefferson Dollar will be available to the public through the banks. I will be in a large town tomorrow (Thursday) and would like to pick some up. I heard somewhere that the release date for the dollars was August 16, which would be tomorrow. Can anyone help? Thanks. Bank has another $1500 sitting in the vault, plus some older washington & adams. They were released on Aug 16th. My box has a July 02 inspect date with a sticker not to open till Aug 16th.
