I'm getting close to my 2000th coin in my personal collection so I went fishing into my "junk" to try to find varieties to add.
i found a 1963 type B reverse with beautiful doubling on all the letters, both wings, several leaves, and the arrows.
then, I found a 1946
Roosevelt dime. some of the obverse features differ from other 1946 dimes. I looked it up and learned that the dies were modified to strengthen the design.
last, I have a MS64 1959 FBL (almost)
Franklin half that, after taking a closer look, was struck with a proof reverse die, similar to the type b quarters in the same years.
now, after adding these three, the count is at 1,993.
