Given all the bidding on it, a lot of people must think it's priced correctly.

Nope - only two people are bidding against each other...

I had one in a similar grade, and I basically gave it to the person who discovered the variety...

I know the ebay seller very well, and I am happy that their hunting and cherry picking is paying off for them.

I say good for this seller!! There's still a bit of time on the clock so you don't know who else may jump into it.. but it's good to see interest like this... I only regret in my last buy of over 1000 pennies... (approx 150 of which were '29's) After searching not ONE was a high 9...

I'm happy to see at least some people are still finding 'em!

Maybe it's priced high because it's rare in uncirculated condition?

I am with SPP here.

I have had maybe three of these in MS, including one I sold in MS63. The price on this one is higher than I saw another MS60 sell for. On the other hand, I haven't seen a better one for sale for quite a while. If you want a nice one for a set, I am not sure where you would find another. The bids are not crazy in my opinion.

I've seen 4 Mint-State pieces in 12 years...I'd say that's rare...
