Hi All,

I am looking for a reference book that details all the major (and minor, if possible) varieties of Canadian Small Cents (1920-2012). I have heard of Charlton. Is there a specific year that would be better to purchase (like 2013 or later)? I know that the Charlton has a special section in it that focuses on one type of coin. Is there one for the small cent?

Thanks!

Matt

I'm not sure if Charlton has covered all the varieties of small cents... if so I'm not sure which issue...

But I do know that this topic was covered on this forum.. ... you could search for the thread.. or perhaps one of the more knowledgeable people on this site could provide a link (I have no clue how to link it on this thread)..

Otherwise I would also suggest that you go to coinsandcanada.com if you look at the price list and then each specific coin year there are some pictures of some of the major varieties..

If you can locate Hans Zoell books on ebay they are great.

Look for Zoell's books. My library has both parts of the 1965 (3rd edition). I have scans of the 1st part for quick reference.
