47P7: Quote: Steve 123, HOW do you know it is a "her" (female)? I guess I shouldn't assume that the name Karly is stereotypically, female. However, I would think that the odds of the name being male, would be lower.

well, I do not speak French. so I did my own investigation. and here it is: karlyshannon is an alias for a person named Joe Fowler, living in Victoria BC, probably on sunnyslope drive. please do not ask how I found out. But I did.
NOW, is Joe female or male?

Quote: Karly is female and is a school teacher or so she said to me. Why would a man want to pose as a female school teacher online? So much for honesty and transparency.

Yes, ebay should really get rid of the 'private listers' feature. In the old days of ebay when it was easy to find the user's name of the items won, I could understand the need for privacy. But now, it's next to impossible to identify the winning bidder, so why the need for privacy?

not quite impossible Doubleeagle, just a lot of time and effort which most of us can't find. As to the listing which 47P7 is talking about on this thread........I discovered that this identical coin was originally sold as item 381019651377 on October 19th for $482.00 Canadian and then sold, as 47P7 brought to our attention on November 8th as item 381040117293 for $605.00 Canadian. Guess the first buyer did not like it and returned it or something else happened. Check it out same coin ; sold twice !

The negative feedback remarks have some nasty replies from the seller. One actually naming a person.

When she Karlyshannon first started selling on ebay she posted a picture of herself on her ebay feedback profile. The picture was of a young lady probably in her early thirtys in a black dress. I have also always thought Karlyshannon was a girl. Maybe Karly is this guy named Joe's girlfriend.
