Republica Mexicana 1887 50 Cantavos Do C 902.7

I recently inherited a small coin collection from my grandfather. I am now trying to sell those coins to afford christmas presents for my kids. I joined this forum because I have a question. I was researching these coins, trying to figure out what they're worth and I noticed something strange. On this mexican coin, it should say "50 Centavos" but instead it says "50 Centavcs". I'm just wondering if that is a known error? I'm pretty sure the coin was minted that way, it seems like if it was due to damage you would be able to tell easily enough. I'll attach a picture of it. I placed the coin on my scanner and scanned it, I have no better way of getting an image of it, my only camera is on my phone. It's hard to tell in this pic, it's all pixelated. Looking at the picture it does look like it cold be damage, but I swear, when you look at it with a magnifying glass under good light you can see the raised part of what should be the O is still silver and the flat surface is tarnished and it makes a nice rounded off C shape, it isn't rough like you would expect from damage. But I don't know anything about coins except how to spend them, so that's why I'm here asking you folks.
