Nice pics Bluesfil, Love that split planchet. I have only 1 but is not still intact/ attached like yours.
Almost as hard to find as a decimal clip/ bite, or are they more so?

Those are some great clips! Were such errors more common from the late 50s-60s?

This is my poor old split, or as Nancy called it once, the 10 cent worth 20 cents. Found in change a little while back.

I must have meant the 20¢ worth 10¢ or maybe, 10 cents worth of 20 cents. Not too many people could lay claim to having 10 cents worth of 20 cents, and you've got two of them.

I really like both those split 20c coins!
The one Gnome has would be called a "clamshell" here in the states.
The grain of the metal on Nancy's 20c is very interesting.
