Also recently completed is my clipped decimal set to 1984.
Dollar coins were introduced in 1984 and $2 were introduced in 1988, so this set is completed prior to the introduction of these.

Some are scans, some are pics...still working on my photography skills, not up to scratch yet.

I particularly like the fifty-cent, gnome, it's a lovely coin.
The only clipped decimal that I own is an uncirculated clipped ten-cent from 1966.
Now I'll have to work towards putting together a set like yours!

I'm so jealous . I only have a clipped 5c and a couple of clipped 20c pieces. They are very hard to find in circulation (were I got mine). I have found more 1966 wavy 2's 20c than clipped 20c pieces.

that is cool, I may try to put a Dansco7070 with clipped planchets together if I ever can get my regular 7070 finished, of course the clipped planchet one would have to be a lifetime goal since I have never seen some of the coins clipped

I've never even seen a clipped coin. Except for the one in my avatar that is.

Thanks Robert, you sorted your album yet or still getting into trouble from mum and dad.
I have just picked up another edition to this set, a 1976 clipped 50c.

Well done gnome

Are you folks finding these by noodling or are you buying them?

Sheesh, I don't know how many coins have passed through my hands & I haven't seen 1 clipped coin yet.
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

A bit off topic now, but also picked up a 1920 double dot 1d, another 1962 doublenose 1d, and another 1942 missing I 1d.
All from the same private sale.

Those 50c clips are very interesting! Does a planchet clip like that show evidence of the Blakesley effect? (weakened rim on the opposing side)
