At the present I have absolutely no intentions of selling! If a ridiculously high offer were to be forwarded I would have to consider it but I plan on enjoying this baby for now. How often does a middle class schmuck like myself get to have something like this in their collection. This is the one item that a wealthy person cant tell me "Oh, I have a dozen of those" (for now!) I agree Ziggy but I would have to think about trading it for a MS-65 1909 S VDB . now that's one that a lot of collectors will never see even though there are a lot of them out there. but maybe I would hold out for a bit too. after 25 years and you just found it. whats the chance's that another one is going to some how pop up/ I don't see it happening for another 25 years so you are safe with you coin for awhile so don't sweat too much but I would add it to my insurance if nothing else Gary

I must say just because it took 25 years to find the first one doesn't mean its going to take 25 more years to find another one simply because now people know they exist and will be looking for them where before they wouldn't even have checked that specific coin for the doubling on the Reverse

Nice article!
As far as selling or trading the coin, I'd have to say don't. No matter if they find 5 of them next week, this is the original, famous one. This coin has put Ziggy on the top of the game, and it has GOT to have some kind of sentimental value now!

Hi I've been trying to get my son Christopher more interested in coins (he's 9).He just sat down and read this thread with me and I think he now realizes that there are more people out there interested than just me! We're going to his first coin show tomorrow, by tomorrow night I think he'll be hooked! Thanks Richard
