On fedboxs they are come in N.F string and son paper wrappers , Harrisburg pa, 17104 . Where you live stamp cwi number 69 for Houston Texas. 103 cwi is Jacksonville Florida. On box they stamp date when wrapped . They are inspected by 4134 or whatever that number means from inspector. Under box there are holes that let you know there are 50 rolls or 40 rolls . It says on box dont open it unless you can see all coin rolls.
These boxes come from Federal reserve banks is why they called fed box's. The Federal reserve sells the used coins first and sometimes they will send intire boxes of brand new coins. They are rare to get box's of say 2007 Denver cents. They are best boxes to search on used coins.
Boxes from Armored truck companies have no writing on them. I have seen there boxes with no stamps or plastic rolled coins, or wrappers with no writing on them. They are just plain Jane wrappers I have never seen them with any solid date rolls of bu coins like found in fed box. I forgot to add all coins are rolled using machines . Sometimes in an cent boxes I find dimes in the mix. There machines I guess make mistakes. The machines will also let coins from overseas in mix also I learned.
Boxes of coins come like this
1. Cents $25.00/red color
2. Nickels $100. Blue color
3. Dimes $250. Green color
4. Quarters $500. Orange color
5. Halves $500 . Yellow color,
6. Dollar $1000. I forgot color on baby dollars like Susan, sacs, presidents.
All numbers and colors are same on fedbox or armored truck company box.
You buy all these at any bank in USA. The public can not buy coins or money from Federal reserve banks only banks can do so for whatever reason.
