The correct Numismatic term would be a double strike.

You are not going to progress, and you are not going to actually start learning, until you stop trying to see things in coins so damaged that nothing left on them is real. That could be the most valuable Nickel error coin ever minted, and nobody will ever know because every recognizable feature aside the eye has been destroyed.

Looks like soldier on it. If it is heavier, then that is probably what it is.

Teach, find you one in good condition that looks odd to you. Post it and even if it's not an error coin you can learn from it.
